milan fashion week picks

Milan will always be home to my number one favorite fashion week... always. And no, it's not just for these ten reasons to visit Italy, but somehow I'm never disappointed with any of the designer's collections in Milano, and Dolce and Gabbana have won my heart yet once again!

+ other favorites I couldn't help but post:

Francesco Scognamiglio

Alberta Ferretti

Roberto Cavalli

Looks like lace, sheer, and fringe are here to stay for another spring season to come!

winter is an etching, spring a watercolor, summer an oil painting, and autumn a mosaic of them all

"I cannot endure to waste anything as precious as autumn sunshine by staying in the house, so I spend almost all the daylight hours in the open air."
- Nathaniel Hawthorne

Wearing | MaxMara dark brown leather jacket • thrifted burnished orange button-down shirt • thrifted black leather shorts • gold chain used as belt from costume shop

Spent a wonderful past few days noticing that the foliage has been losing its freshness throughout the month of September, and here and there a golden leaf shows itself... The wind sings with a new harmony, and the crisp morning breezes taste of apple peel. My boots are now treated to the crunch and rustle of leaves with each step I take. Chilly morning temperatures shift into glorious warm afternoons. Autumnal days are officially here again! There's something so comfortable and nostalgic in the air, I can't evince how excited I am for the line-up of holiday cheer coming forth.

Wearing | thrifted Tulle jacket • Foreign Exchange cardigan •BB Dakota lace button-down shirt • thrifted high waist denim shorts

Sorry I've been MIA! But I am back to solving algebraic formulas, back to over-analyzing works of literature, back to zoning out and daydreaming during lectures, back to subconsciously dazing to the clock a thousand times in one class. Compromises will be made as soon I get back into the swing of things, I promise! I know my adoration for olive shifts have become a bit redundant lately, but desert tones, khaki, and ChloƩ-esque colors for harvest season never gets old...

careless in our summer clothes

Did these three months really go by that fast? Catching the last rays of summer to Beach Fossils with none other than the crop top and high waist shorts combo (and perhaps breaking the "no white after Labor Day" rule). Tomorrow I will officially be a high school senior and sadly, I have NYFW's live stream schedule more memorized than my class schedule. Sigh. Counting down the days until I graduate! But for now, adieu to all play and no work, zero responsibilities, bad habits, and no rules. Looks like I'll be shedding my summer skin and saying hello again to my sweet friend—the snooze button. On a less sleep depriving note, check out some fall styling on ASOS:

If only the temperatures right now would drop about 10 degrees...

let's make this moment a crime

Wearing | Forever 21 cream lace blouse • H&M army green skirt • beige fedora from Santee Alley

Gratify your ears to what spun on repeat during my day-trip through Mojave Desert, strange wildflowers, sandy dunes, cacti, and ghost towns...
