maple leaves and pumpkin spice lattes

Wearing | Forever 21 chunky knit waterfall cardigan • thrifted burnished orange shirt • thrifted
woven belt • H&M charcoal olive skirt • Topshop over-the-knee boots

A walk through swirling maple leaves and warm sips of pumpkin spice latte later: There I was, inexplicably, able to get my hands on one—all mine, my own—and I bought it in a heartbeat. It seems like every fashion blogger out there has a lookalike version of Mulberry's "Alexa" bag, and I'm sure you've all seen a variation/imitation of it a million times all over Lookbook.nu (SERIOUSLY. I don't know how many times I've hyped a look with it.), but... I caved. I've been lusting this bag ever since it was merely announced to come out, and there was no way I could resist hopping on the bandwagon any longer! Perfect for toting around anywhere without the thousand dollar price tag.

Wearing | jumper c/o wholesale-dress.net • Forever 21 tights

Thank you so much to Rain at wholesale-dress.net for sending me this beautiful jumper! I'm amazed at how comfy and cozy it is, not to mention how warm it kept me through the gloomy weather today. Needless to say, I'm in love. Get one of your own for only $10, here! But don't just stop there... peruse their entire site and I guarantee you'll end up clicking the "add to cart" button until you've lost count. Clothes and shoes galore at unbelievable wholesale prices, including this pair of TBA-esque leather shorts for $8. YES, a similar version of the $250 shorts you saw sold out on Pixie Market for 8 freaking dollars. Here. On this website. Oh, and the best part? No minimum order required. Happy shopping! xxx

10/10/10

Wearing | AllSaints asymmetrical closure camel cardigan • American Apparel black pleated skirt • Forever 21 polka dot tights

INTANGIBLE IS NOW KNOWN AS ROUGE FOX. (I'll change my URL whenever I purchase a domain!) I've been on the fence about changing my blog name for months, I don't know... I named this blog on a whim and "intangible" just didn't feel right anymore. I wanted something catchy and simple, yet me at the same time so after contemplating forever, I finally changed it to "rouge fox." (and I promise I'm sticking with this because I will always love all shades of red lipstick and well... I don't even have to explain fox haha) Just thought I would let everyone know!

a love story

friday, i'm in love

Wearing | H&M khaki green jacket • Foreign Exchange drape vest • DIY sweater-turned-skirt • thrifted lacey top

(I'm surprised at how well the skirt and top matches, it almost looks like a dress, but it's not!)

I've been totally consumed by productivity and lots of therapeutic shopping trips and the like in between to distract me from a reality I call homework. I apologize for the blank facial expression here haha, but I'm tired and too lazy to retake photos of this outfit so here's me wasting away extra time an early morning before heading off to school. Sadly I'm lacking in the personal photographer department, otherwise I would update heaps more often. So I now have a line-up of outfits I want to document... In the meantime, stay gold.

with the dust in the evening sky

Wearing | AllSaints batwing-sleeved knit cardigan • dusty lavender bodysuit from Urban Outfitters • sailor shorts from Santee Alley • Aldo booties

Thunderstorms and overcast mornings are deceiving. By noon, I'm forced to take off any outerwear as the sky goes cloudless and the sun beams on my back. Though I must say, I think it's so beautiful when the sky is a deep blue color with patches of white, the sun is shining brightly and at the same time rain is falling down. Nevertheless, waking up to the sight of ground covered in a million fallen leaves this morning was close to the most joy I could get as a six-year-old stuck in a teenager's body. If only the leaves were snow!

Anywho, to save this post from becoming any more of a weather forecast, feast your eyes on some outfit inspirations I've been swooning over:
