Two things intertwined to make the perfect balance. Just another one of those divine late autumn days redolent of March.

Took advantage of the Friday off and ventured to Downtown LA to meander sample sales at the California Market Center. It started out innocently enough with a slight desire to obtain some new outerwear, but all these other things overwhelmingly made it into my shopping bag somehow. One of them including these pair of shorts... which lo and behold, is a match made in heaven with the lace bustier I also snagged. The things you impulsively buy when 75% off is involved...

Ode to bipolar SoCal weather. This week was full of sunshine and hot afternoons. Sometimes it's nice to forget about leather and the darker end of the color spectrum for awhile and spend the day dolled up in the girliest of outfits. But don't let my abiding penchant for floral and lace deceive you. I laugh at tasteless jokes and enjoy people with an immature sense of humor, I've yet to pick up on savoir-vivre and Ava Gardner's ladylike etiquette, my dream car is an Aston Martin sports car, I'd rather receive chocolate over flowers, I can live without make-up, I'm extremely picky with certain shades of pink, and I actually think about food much, much more than I think about clothes. (...most of the time.)
