HAPPY 2011 to everyone on the other side of the globe, and to everyone on my side, what are you all wearing/doing tonight for NYE?!
Whether you're celebrating with midnight kisses, champagne toasts, and rousing renditions of Auld Lang Syne, one to watch fireworks on the rooftop with a lowkey gathering of friends, or a reveler uniting with a crowd of voices to count down the final seconds of the year... ring in the new year with a night to remember! We've just made it through the first year of a new decade. See you next year. xo

no regrets, just love

2011:
To continue positivity.
To continue taking chances.
To continue going forward.
To continue chasing.
To continue having an open mind.
To continue being grateful.
To never have expectations.
To never assume.
To never hesitate an opportunity.
To never lose dignity.
To never underestimate.
To always try.
To always accept.
To always hope.
To always love.
To always believe.
To fight.

To stop being fearful of outcomes, and start living on the edge.

the most magical time of the year

Wearing | glittery gold turban from eBay • ruffle blouse from eBay • thrifted YSL shirt • DIY red bandage skirt • Forever 21 tights

N° 1 Wine hues, champagne tones, and gold will always be my holiday color scheme.
N° 2 The best part about thrifting is that the quality is almost always better than actual stores. Not to mention, a lot cheaper. This shirt was $5. And it's YSL. Score.
N° 3 I was originally on the prowl for a chunky knit turban, but to no avail, I found this glittery one instead (although, it's hard to tell from these pictures). And let's face it... I'm attracted to sparkly things.
N° 4 Red skirt altered from an old sweater. I know I reiterate this a lot butrecycle, recycle, recycle.
N° 5 Did I mention this entire outfit costed me less than $25? Aaand input quote, here: "True style is not about cost or label, but about taste. Without taste, regardless of wealth, you won’t have style."

Merry Christmas and happy holidays, everyone!

I'm not really sure what I did to receive all you followers within the past year and a half. Thank you so much for your loving support, for your sweet comments, and for spending some time out of your mornings and days caught up in my thoughts and musings. Hope you all are having an wonderful day! Much, much, much love.

two more days

Just getting some of the grinches out there into the holiday spirit. Woke up to the sun shining in my face this morning for the first time in a week. Wishing I lived in a place where the winter season was as heavily glorified as some of these photos. Craving hot cocoa with whipped cream and cinnamon sticks. In total disbelief that it's almost Christmas. Two. More. Days. (!!!)
