in an abstract sort of mood

Wearing | abstract print top, altered myself (used to be a dress) c/o Feliceering c/o Romwe • thrifted lace shirt • H&M suede pants • Aldo boots

What I love about the city I commute to college in, is the gorgeous array of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture built in the 1920s that are uniformed all throughout the downtown area. Example? The apartment complex that is the backdrop behind me. For a hot minute, I felt like I had just transported to a getaway in Santa Fe... Wanderlusting aside and back to reality, lately I've been drained out from midterm after midterm, which pretty much calls for days of casual, comfy, and colorful (to brighten up the mood) dressing. Time for a caffeine break. Besos!

I love that type of architecture, too. But then again, I grew up in a neighborhood where a lot of the buildings were built in that way (the city I grew up in was built around an old mission), so that type of architecture also has some nostalgic elements for me.

I adore what you did with altering that abstract top! The neckline detail is gorgeous.

Spanish colonial revival is almost everywhere in NorCal! Anytime I see those kinds of buildings, I automatically associate it with hot CA weather.

Love your gorgeous lace shirt!
