GIVEAWAY #1: win an $80 gift certificate to romwe

Wearing | Lucca Couture romper • Forever 21 shirt • vintage '80s macrame belt • satchel c/o Romwe

Literally gasped when I saw this PS1 lookalike on Romwe's site! I've been pining over Proenza Schouler's "Medium Linen" satchel for ages, so you can only imagine how much it felt like an early Christmas to claw the package open the second it arrived on my doorstep recently (and quite frankly, it's been having hard time leaving my shoulders since). Aaand luckily for you, Romwe is letting me share the magic (twice!) by giving away two $80 gift certificates to two lucky Rouge Fox readers!

To enter, simply leave a comment below with your name, e-mail address, and your favorite fall piece from romwe.com.

Personally, I've got my eye on quite a few jumpers...

Contest is open worldwide. I'll randomly select two winners on November 8th. Good luck! In the meantime, why don't you take advantage of some good discounts? Enter "StreetFashion1" at checkout for $10 off orders of $50 or more or "StreetFashion2" for $20 off a $100+ purchase. xo

purple haze

Wearing | floral lace dress c/o Club Couture • Forever 21 cardigan • Levi's belt • thrifted boots

Currently obsessed with "Lady Like," a pearly dusty rose shade with a hint of lavender that is painted across my fingers, from Essie's current fall collection. My nails couldn't go anymore harmoniously with this floral lace dress and matching knit.

On another note, what's been keeping me sane during midterms:

in an abstract sort of mood

Wearing | abstract print top, altered myself (used to be a dress) c/o Feliceering c/o Romwe • thrifted lace shirt • H&M suede pants • Aldo boots

What I love about the city I commute to college in, is the gorgeous array of Spanish Colonial Revival architecture built in the 1920s that are uniformed all throughout the downtown area. Example? The apartment complex that is the backdrop behind me. For a hot minute, I felt like I had just transported to a getaway in Santa Fe... Wanderlusting aside and back to reality, lately I've been drained out from midterm after midterm, which pretty much calls for days of casual, comfy, and colorful (to brighten up the mood) dressing. Time for a caffeine break. Besos!

and the summer came back for just awhile

Wearing | Audrey 3+1 hummingbird blouse • lace skirt c/o Felicee • Forever 21 necklace • turband from eBay

I always forget that Octobers in Southern California means wildfire season, and with that, comes the arrival of unexpected heatwaves and temperatures that call for an excuse to lie in a pool all afternoonwith a cold glass of peach sangria in hand, of course. Not to mention, a chance to wear out some of my favorite summery pieces one last time before it's too late! When there's a garden variety of botanical prints out there, it's nice to find something from the garden other than florals once in awhile. This hummingbird motif fluttered its way into my closet the moment I spotted this blouse.

minimal luxe

Wearing | romper c/o Felicee • eBayed circle sunnies • Levi's belt

Breaking out of the youthful playsuits of summer and transitioning into a more sophisticated romper style. Which may just be an oxymoron... Who would've thought "sophisticated" and "romper" ever be uttered in the same breath? Speaking of sophistication? If you've been following my blog since 2009, you might remember that I have quite an affinity for Ann's Deemeulemeester's draping and layering smarts. Her latest collection in Paris, need I say more?

I'll definitely be taking cues, be it fall, (a southern California) winter, or spring.
