I'm sure you can all tell by now that I love a bit (okay, more like a lot) of flower power, and life is a bed of roses for me during these warmer months with all the floral patterned pieces in full bloom. Not only am I enjoying the sweet smell of flowery blazers and skirts that have been widely planted, sewn, and harvested, but I'm more so bending over for the floral denim that have freshly blossomed into this season's crop de jour. And of course, who wouldn't love to jump into a bouquet of House of Fraser dresses? Grab your floppy hat and slip on your Daisy Buchanan number, because there's a garden party over at the House of Fraser so good that even Jay Gatsby would be jealous!

When it comes to clothes, I am all for anything that is oversized—oversized sweaters, oversized tees, and even oversized prints. I'm in a garden state of mind lately with big and bright floral motifs that are anything but a wallflower. There's just something about full blooming, standout rose prints that's refreshing to me as opposed to last spring's tinier ditsy daisies. And when paired with light washed denim, that seventies soul inside me is good to go.

Getting punchy with some tropical island colored floral print paired with a splash of lime green, proving that black and brown do go together, and my nails doing the tangerine tango thanks to a "Braziliant" shade by Essie. Don't let the overcast backdrop deceive you, the sun came out to play just a couple minutes after these photos were taken (this always happens to me... sigh) and with it came glistening, clear skies that stretched on until the peak of dawn. Weather lately has been a walk along the beach and I am loving every easy-breezy, sunkissed minute of it. x

This kaftan is by one of my new favorite Australian labels, Suboo. A resort brand with nothing short of sea-breezy, free-spirited, and feminine pieces, this particular watercolor-esque number has me longing for days in Santa Fe spent traipsing around the Plaza. Surely, one of those dresses that when paired with orange soles for the summer soul, makes me wanderlust for a trip somewhere south with every wear.
