This combination has been my current default for lazy days: a boxy top, tapered second-skin jeans that are anything but your average Lana Del Ray pair, and slouchy beanie—one accessory that always has the ability to uplift the most basic of outfits. Oh, and you can't forget mid-length, Western-inspired ankle boots that are made for walking, jumping, dancing, and everything else. Bisous!

This is actually an outfit that I wore a few weeks ago. It's been so hot these past couple days that all I want to do during the daytime is lazily twinkling into the sunlight and refreshing myself with everything from frozen fruits to lingering nearby grocery stores for free air conditioning. It was only at dusk when a light breeze woke up this sleepy fawn, now able to enjoy light breezes on bare legs and floaty chiffon dresses. I've been more of a nightwalker lately and the ever-increasing number of chiffon in my wardrobe seems to be linked to the lush season of mild winds, warm-colored leaves, and scent of apple cider through the air (even if that scent is all in my head). I can hardly wait for fall.

I love how aztec print constantly pops up for several seasons, and each time these South American motifs appear again and again, they continue to freshen up and take the center stage by storm! While not so synonymous with its louder, more saturated cousins, this "South Tribe" pair comes in a faded and muted pattern which makes it perfect for summer-to-fall transition. Can't wait until it gets cooler so I can opt for an oversized, chunky knit jumper with these second-skin jeans. Talk about the ultimate comfort.

It is seriously bewildering to me that over two weeks have already flown by since I've last posted! Sorry to have fallen into an abyss on you guys! It's been hectic on my end and I'd be lying if I didn't say blogging has been the very last thing on my mind lately. Nonetheless, there's nothing more refreshing on a warm midsummer's day than citrus colorblocking. Cheers!
