I'm not sure if it's because I'm itching for a blank slate with my wardrobe or I'm going through a phase, but I've been gravitating towards colorless pieces more than ever since the year has started. I've worn such a hodgepodge of colors, prints, and textures the past couple of months that I guess going back to black (and white) has been acting more like a palate cleanser. But as much as I would love to take a new nod to mod and go all the way, I'm certainly not turning colorblind this spring. In fact, the best way to delve into color is through a single, traffic-stopping dose such as this mustard moto jacket!

I feel like my style is heading in something similar to yours. I love the simplicity and chicness that a basic black and white outfit can lend a look. And you rock it with the chevron print and cool wedges! But yes, always needs a nice dose of color - and that moto jacket certainly delivers :D

I spent a good few years slowly getting rid of all the black in my wardrobe, to make way for some colourful bright pieces. And this year, I'm loving neutral, mute, colours, and I'm buying everything in black. haha, such is life.
